Confectionery Die Machinery

This Die machine was designed to accept the rotary die head from a Robust machine or Hansella 85A. Constructed from steel plate and bar, the entire frame is precision machined to give strength and accuracy. Improvements over the Robust machine include fully ball raced movement, additional shaft bearings for the PTO pulley, independanly controled motors for the die head and feed wheels, adjustable torque limiting clutch and removable stainless steel guards.

The motor is powered via an invertor for speed control which in turn drives direct to a torque limiting clutch. This can be set to operate should any abnormal resistance ocur in the machine, preventing the dies from operating if a foreign body enters the equipment. The candy feed wheels are powered and controled separate from the die, this allows fine tuning to achieve the desired weight and shape of the end product.
